I'm using A2DP with Bluez through Pulseaudio like this: I've got blueman from the daily-ppa for karmic, with the pulseaudio plugin activated and it works well! Dunno whether it's because of my pulseaudio configurations but I just had to disable 2 of 3 profiles at pavucontrol - I think pa was connected to more than 1 profile on my headset, that why I had no sound before :)
