I started Ubuntu with Dapper. Last weekend I upgraded to Edgy using the Alternate CD and Internet updates after.
I can't read the progress bar in Synaptic at all in Edgy. There are light gray characters on a white background, and everything on the bar seems to crawl around. I use default everything for the desktop, right from the installation.
