I didn't find a new binary package in edgy-proposed, but I found the source package 0.7.4+0.8.0beta15-2build0.1~proposed1 there. I installed with $ sudo apt-get -b source xmms-sid $ sudo dpkg -i xmms-sid_0.7.4+0.8.0beta15-2build0.1~proposed1_i386.deb
