Hi, > Not sure if this is a duplicate of either #430420 or #429855 ??? I think it's a duplicate of #430420. Both in this case as well in #430420, the output from lspci shows that the wireless network card is an Atheros AR5xxx model. I think this is an issue with the ath5k driver. I am having this problem as well and I have the same wirless chip. The sympton of this problem seems to be a lagging network connection. When I logon to my Linux box at university, ssh sessions freeze periodiacally for a few seconds. I have observed this problem with Atheros chipsets and ath5k driver only. Neither showed any other chipset this behaviour nor had I ever these problems with the old Atheros driver (madwifi). As far as I remember, it was an issue with set_rate or some synchronization issue with the wireless radio. I suggest marking this as duplicate of #430420.
