Usually we do for bugs in the intel driver. There are, however, many indications that this is a bug in the i915 part of mesa, which handles both 915GM and 945GM. So it is very likely that you have the exact same bug and another bug report shouldn't be necessary. If you want to contribute your log files you may open a new bug report (with ubuntu-bug) and mark it as a duplicate of this one.
