I'm not sure if it's the same bug but: I'm trying to install feisty's 20070209 alternate cd onto a core 2 duo on a gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 motherboard. It was probably not 10 minutes but it did take a long time. As far as I could see from running ps in another console it was waiting for udevsettle? At least that was the most recent process.
