*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 238606 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/238606
Thanks for your help. I've gotten many suggestions but nothing seem to fix all the problems I was having. So I installed the newest UBUNTU, 9.04 and everything works now. I even have HULU, Crackle and a Sprint Compass wireless card working off of Ubuntu. I haven't tried MagicJack yet and I tried to play a movie (a real store bought one- Gran Torino) that did not play at alll using VLC and using UBUNTU's Movie Player crashed after I paused it to take a call.
