How do you know the software hasn't changed? We don't have this problem with Thunderbird, Outlook, or other clients. Evolution was working fine and then all of the sudden it began to accumulate mail in the Outbox folder after running (and sending mail successfully) for some period of time. I've made no configuration changes on the Evolution client side. It just stopped working. Also interesting is that so far today (and yesterday) having started Evolution from a Terminal instead of by the launcher it runs with NO problems. That surely indicates some problem that is NOT with our mail server.
There are others who have this problem. Did you see the Ubuntu Forums post I included a link to? Relevant Ubuntu Forums Posts http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=7744054 http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1190064 Is there a log file that Evolution generates that can be sifted through to see what causes this because I just don't accept your premise that this is 'my problem to be solved'. I'll gladly help troubleshoot this though and work with you and your team to figure it out. -- Outgoing mail stops working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/430511 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
