Public bug reported: Karmic Alpha 5 UNR.
When unplugging A/C power from the netbook caused the netbook to sleep. Upon investigation I have figured out that when the netbook is unplugged it registers that the lid is closed. when I open gnome-power-preferences and change the lid close to blank screen that is what the computer does when I pull the power cord. Not sure if it is a kernal issue or an issue with pm-utils. Kernal Version: 2.6.31-10-generic pm-utils version: 1.2.5-2ubuntu5 Attached is the dmesg that shows everything when I unplug the power before I changed the gnome-power-preferences. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Going from A/C to D/C netbook thinks it's lid closed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/428746 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
