there is no tty listening on the serial port by default, you can only
manually create a tty setup for it in an installed system, i dont think
it is possible to do that in a live system atm ...

(if you are intrested you could file a bug against casper to create such
a setup from a bootoption i.e. "serial" which you would have to set pre-
boot from  a serial terminal in redboot)
