Reopening. After installing fresh karmic from daily live cd, openoffice .org-voikko or mozvoikko are not installed. It is not acceptable to require the user to launch language-selector to get those installed.
I did not understand the rationale in #409764 completely, ie. the part why Recommends was not used (Recommends are installed by default, which would solve the problem), but they were moved to language-selector. So this bug should be refactored to point out where the problem is - is language-selector somehow involved in the installation process? Or is it installer's problem now, or should the #409764 change be reverted since losing critical features is more bad than having too tight dependencies (especially if the dependencies are not really too tight if using Recommends)? ** Changed in: language-support-writing-fi (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => Confirmed -- [karmic] openoffice.org-voikko and mozvoikko dependencies disappeared https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/423048 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
