I've got a Sony Vaio SR19XN - and suffered from the same bug. The internal microphone didn't work. Running Arch Linux with alsa 1.0.21. The hint "options snd-hda-intel model=toshiba-s06" worked for me. At least the internal mic. works now, but I can't adjust the volume for internal speakers and headphone-jack seperately anymore.
