I am running Ubuntu 9.10 on my Dell Latitude XT 2 that has an N-Trig digitizer built in. The wacom driver does not recognize the digitizer without the patch from here:

Thus I suggest to include this patch into the Ubuntu package xserver- xorg-linux-wacom.
