Public bug reported: Binary package hint: fast-user-switch-applet
Previously the applet's menu included a list of users. Now there is no such list, and switching to a logged-in user requires choosing "New Session..." and then choosing from the list of users in the gdm menu. For a "family" desktop shared between a small number of users, the old behavior was convenient--with recent X, it made the switch between users practically instantaneous. It was also more intuitive--it's not completely obvious that "New Session..." is the right menu item to choose to switch to a different logged-in user. This is on Karmic, with fast-user-switch-applet version 2.24.0-0ubuntu13. ** Affects: fast-user-switch-applet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- fast-user-switch-applet menu no longer includes user list https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/425961 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
