Public bug reported:

After a while the system gets really hot, too hot to touch. When I issue a
reboot, after X is closed and the shutdown sequence is in progress I can hear
the fan spin up...
I'm running a current karmic koala (updated yesterday evening), this bug has
however been in karmic a while, at least since alpha 1 release. I upgraded to
karmic from jaunty on the 28th of sept. and jaunty doesn't show this issue.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
