I am not certain, but it sounds as though this bug could be the fault that I am having (I don't understand the technical problem description).
I have been using 9.04 (Jaunty) since May (with all updates), but I hadn't used the recurrence feature of the Calendar function in 9.04 until yesterday. I can set up & save a simple calendar event. I can set up a recurrence for the event, but when I try to save the calendar entry, Evolution is shut-down. When I restart Evolution, & re- open the calendar event, the event is there, but the recurrence has not been saved. >From comment #5 above, it seems that I will have to wait until 9.10.
