kernel janitor;
  I downloaded Karmic this am. Installed it to dual boot with 8.04. It
was flaky and 8.04 not available. Did a clean, single os install and
received a "fsck" error message. Ran "fsck" manually from error
screen. All issues have cleared up, Karmic is running great.
  Also a previous bug I reported, #376145, is gone. No problems after
"fsck" with "metacity" and "ubiquity". No "gvfs-gdu-volume-monitor
crash error.
