I am having the same issues.
I'm using a PCI adapter which uses the RT2860 chip (lsmod shows that the 
rt2860sta module is being loaded). Just like Nicolas, it takes forever to 
initially request things but once it has, it delivers them at my usual speed 
(we pay for 8Mbit).
To give you a better idea of my problem, I pinged google.com. Usually it takes 
about 50ms to ping, when I pinged it just now, it read ~50ms on all of them, 
but the difference was there was a 5-8 second delay inbetween pings.
My adapter was working fine in 2.6.31-8, so this definitely has something to do 
with the new kernel update.
