For what it's worth, 9.04 is in the same boat as 8.10 - X produces a working display, but the maximum resolution is 800 x 600, whereas the Armada 7800 display is capable of 1024 x 768.
I might say it produce a mostly-working display. I sometimes see this thing where a random window will render as a seemingly random mess with mostly slanted lines, or will simply not render (as though it was completely transparent). Scrolling the window up into the title bar and then unscrolling it will (sometimes) fix it, but it does get to be a hassle to have to scroll windows into and out of the title bar to get them to render properly. -- xorg fails to generate a working /etc/X11/xorg.conf on Compaq Armada 7800 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/251676 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
