Me too. - Ubuntu Edgy - Samba share from a Linksys NSLU2, mounted with smbfs - Approx 7Gb library. What's bizarre is that the files it claims to have a problem with play ok and you can import their directories into the collection individually. There's nothing wrong with the files but it fails in the same place every time. Rhythmbox has no problem reading the whole collection.
I'd rather have an incomplete collection than none. Shouldn't Amarok collection run to completion even if it does get errors from taglib? I'd also like to see the winamp approach that drag'n'drop into the collection pane just read tags rather than copying files. If that's what it's doing.
