Hi all: I'm the creator of DeVeDe. The error message is somewhat ambiguous because DeVeDe can't know the true reason why SPUMUX fails. That's why it says "Maybe"; it just presumes that the error is (maybe) that you ran out of free disk space :)
Fortunately, in this case the reason is clear and known: VOB files aren't true MPEG-2 files (they have some extra fields that confuses SPUMUX), so you can't mark that checkbox. I fixed this in version 3.14. You can download it from the official homepage (there's a DEB package for Ubuntu too). In this version you have a new option that repackages the video and audio without recompressing it. It's under the option you are using now. That way SPUMUX will have a file in the right format, and you will have the maximum quality and speed because the video and the audio won't be recompressed. Unfortunately you will be able to have only one audio track (you can choose which one, anyway). -- devede cannot make dvd because of "needed space maybe not sufficient" error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/272488 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
