Hi, Sorry for the incredibly brief bug report -- I was probably not in the correct frame of mind when I submitted it.
The problem for me is that the bug is a) difficult to reproduce, but b) almost always occurs when I transfer data (e.g. rsync/ssh) over the wireless network. The platform this occurs on is a Lenovo T61p running the 64-bit Ubuntu 9.04. The wireless card in use is the onboard Intel AGN4965. I am not sure I had the same issues when I ran 8.10 on the same platform, but what I do know is that 8.10 did NOT function well with Kismet (it would kernel panic _hard_). I have yet to use Kismet on 9.04. I have difficulty submitting crash reports (e.g. with netconsole) because invariably the crashes occur when I don't have a system ready to receive the crash log (e.g. over the wired network). Can I make the UI disappear when the crash occurs, so I can see the crash dump? (Usually the machine just locks up, blinking the caps and numlock lights.)
