Yannis, your suggestion worked, thanks. I configured the router according to the examples in http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/Ekiga_behind_a_NAT_router#Symmetric_NAT:_Dynamic_navigation_of_NAT_routers.
Maybe a little off-topic, but I can't find Ekiga options mentioned there, Edit -> Preferences -> Protocols -> Network Settings menu.
