This bug has now been open for 2 months, and the realistic life of Edgy will be over in about another 2. I have another update I'd like to do, but haven't been able to do it because I'm waiting on this bug.
Although I haven't spent that much time preparing these fixes and chasing this bug around, I have spent some time on it. I'd quite like to know if it is worth chasing stable release updates for ubuntu-docs or not; or if I should simply concentrate my time on the next release of Ubuntu. To be totally honest, I think the stable release update procedure is rather inflexible - I understand that for updates to X and such, thorough testing is required, but for packages like ubuntu-docs which generally involve easy fixes and/or text updates, two months to get the fix included (apart from any time spent making it) is a bit over the top. -- SRU: [Edgy] Upgraded documentation https://launchpad.net/bugs/74555 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
