looks like development stalled in 2007. The pros: - doesn't seem to conflict with 2.2 - no bugs reported The cons: - needs to go through new - last activity in svn 2 month ago - pretty much unsupported from debian (based on reading <http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=382376> and looking at changelog/ debian's svn) Now, since cyrus-impad is really a beast, and hence is no fun to support security-wise I must admit that I don't think we have the resources to include another (co-installable) version of it without knowing that we do have good Debian support for it. Otherwise it might just sit in the karmic repositories, with later known security vulnerabilities, which noone would volunteer to fix, -1 from me hence. Cheers, Stefan. ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #382376 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=382376 -- Sync cyrus-imapd-2.3 2.3.8-1 (universe) from Debian experimental (main) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/298988 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
