Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org
When saving a new file to a WebDAV volume, OOo responds with error dialogs: Error saving the document <newfile>: <WebDAV url> does not exist. Error saving the document <newfile>: General Error. General input/output error. The error logs of the DAV server show a list of 404 errors. Steps to repeat: 1. configure OOo to use its own dialogs, so that WebDAV volumes are accessible 2. open a file from a WebDAV volume 3. select File -> Save As, and save the existing file to a new name on the WebDAV volume 4. the error messages appear Remarkably enough, opening an existing document and exporting it as PDF in the same directory on the WebDAV volume works without a hitch, even if the PDF file didn't exist before. For your reference, we also encountered this problem on Fedora 10 some time ago, and for this distribution the bug was fixed (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=480057).
