The result was horribly long and looked like: ====================== (%i1) batch(maxima-bug.wxm) batching #p/home/mackay/rhic/orbit/oscharm/maxima-bug.wxm (%i2) load(lapack) Maxima encountered a Lisp error: Error in MACSYMA-TOP-LEVEL [or a callee]: Couldn't protect Automatically continuing.
