Binary package hint: emesene
Recently, Emesene has been upgraded for Karmic to 1.5. This included
support for webcams (despite what the package description says!).
However, using the official package from the Ubuntu main repositories,
when I go to click the webcam icon, the following message appears:
"You don't have libmimic, so you can't send or receive webcam"
Therefore, no webcam. From what I have searched, there is no libmimic
package for Ubuntu Karmic.
Using Emesene 1.5-1ubuntu1 and Karmic Alpha 4.
