OK. mbarnes, upstream, had also had this issue on Fedora. The issue is on malaga, indeed. There is a patch available on http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=2802548&group_id=156731&atid=800960.
So, rigtht now, the option is to uninstall malaga. I will see what we can do here, meanwhile.
