Robos I would be happy to spend some time on vobcopy bug fixing if you like.
I am not sure where the packaging sits though, my multi-year attempt to become a DD consumed a ton of time and ended in complete frustration. It was unfortunate, I really wanted to get involved with Debian. It looks like somebody has taken over packaging for Ubuntu, maybe I should focus my efforts there instead, I use and like Ubuntu.
