Please, do test with the new usbmount in Debian (version 0.0.17.1). I made a change that (in many cases) changes the behavior of usbmount and I would appreciate some feedback. If possible, please give me some response soon, so that the new version enters karmic before "the gates are closed" (i.e., the freeze).
