As indicated in the other bugs, they aren't duplicates because they're
in different partitioner implementations.

In any case, this was recently fixed in Debian, and I've pulled in the
fix:

partman-partitioning (45ubuntu1) feisty; urgency=low

  * Resynchronise with Debian. Remaining changes:
    - Offer resize option for HFS, HFS+, and HFSX.
    - Make sure to wipe disk label on Sun disks before creating a new one.
  * Backing up from the "new partition size" question when resizing a
    partition now goes back to the menu of options for that partition, not
    to the partition tree.
