Is the compat-wireless stack the same as the old madwifi drivers? If it is I don't think this will do me any good. On Hardy/Intrepid I ran always on the latest SVN version of those drivers and crashes were quite frequent there. No instant lock up, but a after a while (hour or 2) it would lock up completely. The ath9k drivers are a relief from that perspective.
What bothers me is that the .12 release works fine (running this now), although all releases afterwards don't.
