Thanks for reporting this bug. Actually this is not a bug, but a feature in Ubuntu nebook remix. Basically for small screens, the window is always maximized. If you need a more conventional re sizable window, you may need to switch to the classic desktop environment. This can be easily done by clicking the "ubuntu symbol" in the top-left hand corner of the screen to pull up the Home Screen, click ‘Preferences’, and then select ‘Switch Desktops’.
Select Classic Desktop. This should do it. Also you might need to stop a program called Maximus, that maximize the windows by default. To disable it: System->preferences->Sessions and deselect maximus. I hope this helps. Since it is not a bug, I am going to set it as invalid. ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Invalid -- frozen window size https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/412980 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
