It would be useful if we could determine the number of unused blocks in
another way...  :-/

As I told @gedakc on IRC before, it seems like the FAT filesystem header
(? I need to investigate some more) has an optional field that may store
that number, but the fact that it's optional doesn't sound like we can
count on it...

And I guess something similar is true for NTFS: seems like detecting
free space (sometimes?) requires us to walk all over the whole
filesystem...
