Hi,
I use the beta 4 of Karmic Koala and noticed many wrong configuration of my
soundcard. The Headphone channel is muted, and it recognizes the
onboard-microphone as Front-Micro. All this can be fixed with alsamixer, but
only if you're fast enough, because another program affects alsamixer all the
time, so if i volume up the channel x alsamixer returns to 0 after some
seconds. I think fixing this is important, because there aren't many new users
who want to play around with alsamixer.
