Well, with Super mapped to the win keys I can now (in Jaunty) use the Windows key in any short-cut, so that appears to be part of this bug fixed. If other Jaunty users can confirm this is fixed then all that remains is to change the default setting when Ubuntu is installed.
Would that be a design decision though? If you change it to Super so you can use it as a modifier you lose the ability to use the Windows key on its own (anyone know of a workaround for that?).
