Dr D J Clark, In your version of the original pcf, it looks to me like there are settings related to certificates to use for connecting to the VPN, and not only group password setting.
Unfortunately, the vpnc plugin doesn't support authentication using certificates yet, so I believe this is why it doesn't work. Could you please confirm with the exported file from NM (after re-adding the enc_GroupPwd value), whether vpnc-connect will connect successfully?
