This was now problem with the old 1:62+dfsg-0ubuntu8.2 0 before the update. KVM Host: 2.6.24-23-server #1 SMP Wed Apr 1 22:14:30 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux KVM Guest: 2.6.24-24-server #1 SMP Fri Jul 24 22:44:54 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux both ubuntu 8.04 LTS, only the host with the backport-repository for kvm.
