Stéphane Brunner has the latest version in his PPA: https://launchpad.net/~stephane-brunner/+archive/arduino
I tried using the 64-bit build: it runs and successfully compiles sketches, but I couldn't get it to upload to my Arduino Nano. There is a 64-bit version (not packaged) floating around in the Google Code issues page: http://code.google.com/p/arduino/issues/detail?id=4 I a used that to create a deb package for Ubuntu (seems to work just fine for me...). ** Bug watch added: code.google.com/p/arduino/issues #4 http://code.google.com/p/arduino/issues/detail?id=4 ** Attachment added: "Arduino IDE for 64-bit ubuntu" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/30162672/arduino-0016-amd64.deb ** Description changed: + The open-source Arduino environment makes it easy to write code and + upload it to the i/o board. It runs on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. The + environment is written in Java and based on Processing, avr-gcc, and + other open source software. + https://launchpad.net/arduino -- [needs-packaging] arduino https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/230387 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
