Public bug reported: serf-0.3.0-0.2 in Karmic build-depends on unversioned libapr1-dev, but it requires a recent version of libapr1-dev to build successfully. I'm not sure which version is the oldest supported version, but Jaunty's libapr1-dev (1.2.12-5ubuntu0.1) is too old. When backporting serf-0.3.0 to Jaunty, the build fails with the following output:

I'm not sure if serf also requires a newer libaprutil1-dev; the backport completed successfully using Jaunty's version of libaprutil1-dev (1.2.12+dfsg-8ubuntu0.3). ** Affects: serf (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- serf-0.3.0 requires a recent version of libapr1-dev to build https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/410901 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
