** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver

Using Ubuntu 9.04 x64 with ATI Radeon HD 2600 and 3650 video cards &
xserver-no-backfill patch.
Do not know exactly what package misbehaves.
When using ATI proprietary drivers (installed through
System>Administration>Hardware Drivers) with visual effects enabled, choosing a
screensaver through "Screensaver Preferences" freezes Jaunty. Otherwise
screensaver works ok.
Problem is partially solved by installing the latest ATI drivers (9.7).
Jaunty does not crash any longer, but "Screensaver Preferences" continue to
behave oddly, as screensaver previews expand into the dialog box hiding the
screensaver names + scrollbars.
