Hi Jeroen, First, can you try installing linux-backports-modules-jaunty to see if it helps? The reason I ask is because linux-backports-modules-jaunty contains and updated compat-wireless stack which may help. If the issue remains, can you try the latest upcoming Karmic Alpha release? ISO CD images are available at http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/karmic/ . You should be able to test using a LiveCD. Even after testing with Karmic if this remains, please run the following command when using Karmic which will automatically gather and attach debug info to this bug report:
