Hi, Pedro, my external hard disk is formatted as ext4. I booted to a clonezilla live CD and used GParted to create a single ext4 partition on the whole disk. I then ran clonezilla to clone my whole internal hard disk and put the image onto the external hard disk.
I think nautilus' inability to delete the file in question is a permissions problem, but I don't know exactly what it is, and in any case nautilus doesn't give me any type of error. Please see the attached terminal log. "blah" and "fubar" are simple text files that I put there just to test. "mydirectory" was created by clonezilla.
