Public bug reported: 1) I am using Jaunty Jackelope 9.04, and it is set to dual boot with Windows Vista.
2) (the problem is not unique to nautilus) nautilus: Installed: 1:2.26.2-0ubuntu2 Candidate: 1:2.26.2-0ubuntu2 Version table: *** 1:2.26.2-0ubuntu2 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty-updates/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1:2.26.2-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages 3) I expect a window size that I have specified to remain unchanged until I change it. 4) Opening a window for an application causes a different window (not necessarily the same application) to change its unmaximized size to fill the entire screen. This is an intermittent problem that I can't seem to predict, but it seems to be more common in OpenOffice.org or when a wine program is open. Most recently (exact description): I opened a launcher link to a file from my task bar (file:///media/). I pressed the unmaximize button and it switches to the previous unmaximized size. I navigate with that window to a file on a different partition. Then I press the same launcher to open another window. At the same time, the previous window resizes to fill the entire screen (but does not switch to full screen). 5) This is Dell Inspiron 1525 that has a 130 GB HD, 3 GB RAM, and two 2.16 GHz processors. Thank you. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Window Resizes Itself Without Prompting https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/406533 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
