ok i now why I cannot mount ..... as suspected IT IS the wrong keymap at startup ....
I installed alpha 3 today with German keymap during setup ... i confirmed it was working. I encrypted using a z in the password (z and y are switched on the GER layout) .... after install i was again not able to mount, but once i used my y button for the z i was able to mount. So at startup I dont have the German keymap as during the install and thus I cannot mount ...
