Additionally, I have noticed that as the UNR interface goes down, it is caused 
by the desktop switcher permitting the system to switch back into desktop mode. 
When I use the switcher to switch back to UNR, I am able to use everything, and 
normality is restored until it switches back... However I do get the same error 
message as rdsherwood and cowboy above.
"An error occurred while loading or saving configuration information for 
netbook-launcher. Some of your configuration settings may not work properly" 
and under Details it says "Failed to contact configuration server; some 
possible causes are that you need to enale TCP/IP networking for ORBit, or you 
have stale NFS locks...".
