Right, actually I just wanted to point out that in creating the package for jaunty (found in my ppa) I had found the problems reported and, very probably, the same will be present in the package for karmic. The file .diff.gz that I had posted is for a karmic package, not for jaunty. However, I don't know very well the process for a new upstream release, specialy when it is updated in Debian and synched in Ubuntu.
