Uh... this problem is a real showstopper unless you find the workaround. In my eyes, that would warrant a somewhat closer investigation.
E.g. grep for "Debian-exim" in a full Gutsy repository, and compare the found occurrences with what Jaunty does. Or get the installation logs from me (I haven't manually deleted them, so unless logrotate phased them out, they should still be available), and try to reproduce the problem on a fresh Gutsy install to verify that the problem can be reproduced, and on a Jaunty install to verify that the problem got indeed fixed. Or check the request statistics for this page. If they sharply dropped with an Ubuntu release, the problem probably got fixed; if they're constant, the problem probably persists. Just my 2c. I'm no more affected by this issue so I don't care too much, it's just that others still might have the problem. -- Gutsy: dpkg: syntax error: Unknown group 'debian-exim' in statoverridefile https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/188181 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
