Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org
when typing a 'space' ( ) the courser will not move forward a space until the next character is typed. this is true also of double spaces. I.e. at the end of a sentence i type a "." and then two spaces but the curser remains immediately after the period until i type the first letter of the next sentence. most of the time not a problem but can be very irritating when going back to edit things and you can't remember if you already typed the 'space' or not. Evidently this is only a problem on a specific document i'm working on. my os is Ubuntu 9.04 ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 Package: openoffice.org-core 1:3.0.1-9ubuntu3 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: openoffice.org Uname: Linux 2.6.28-13-generic i686 ** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- spaces do not appear until next character is typed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/397256 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
